The house we are going to be renting is actually our second choice, but it has a lot of character and we're real excited about it. :) We are allowed to paint it, so we're going to paint it all crazy colors. It'll be fun! :)
Also, this place is walking distance to tons of fun stuff like restaurants, bars, shops, an arts park, etc. AND.....biking distance to the beach! WOOHOO!
Here are some pictures of it. It is still dirty and has stuff in it from the previous owner, but imagine it clean and painted! I got this Glidden paint cd rom thing that I uploaded these pics to and painted the walls what colors we're going to. It was real cool and makes the place look super nice, but I can't figure out how to upload them to the web, so SORRY, you'll have to wait to see the real thing. :)
There are also two bedrooms, an office, and an attic that I'm not showing pics of. Show you more once the place is painted (and cleaned) !! :)

The place looks fab! And, I bet it's easier to get to from I-95 :)
I envy you for being able to paint "all crazy colors" because although I had permission, I didn't have the time or money.
Does the house have a yard for the doggies? It looks like it does.
I like to say my place has 'character' too, but I say it to excuse the fact that it's old and falling apart.
